NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A second person has died following the June 20 triple shooting on E. Olney Road.

According to officials, Norfolk police were in the 900 block of Bagnall Road around 4:45 p.m. on June 20 after hearing several gunshots nearby.

Officers arrived to the 800 block of Bangnall Road and found a 23-year-old man suffering from non life-threatening injuries.

Shortly afterwards, officers located two other men both suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds in the 700 bloc of Chapel Street. 19-year-old Javid K. Williams was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim, 29-year-old Maurice Stowe, was transferred to a local hospital, where he died on June 25 as a result of his injuries.
