ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WAVY) – Elizabeth City police seized several illegal narcotics after a man was arrested Thursday afternoon.

According to officials, officers arrested 21-year-old Kai Blake Dail at 12:40 p.m. in connection with an outstanding order of arrest for failure to appear out of Pasquotank County.

During the arrest, officers seized the following from Dail:

  • 15.9 grams of suspected fentanyl
  • 11.5 grams of suspected cocaine
  • 5.4 grams of suspected “crack” cocaine
  • 69 pills of suspected oxycodone
  • One ounce of marijuana
  • Digital scales and packaging material
  • $1,346

Officers charged Dail with three counts of trafficking heroin, two counts of possession with the intent to sale and deliver, possession with the intent to sale and deliver cocaine, possession with the intent to sale and deliver marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dali is currently being held at the Albemarle District Jail under no bond. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 17.
