CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — The North Landing Bridge on Mt. Pleasant Road got stuck again Friday morning.
The city issued an alert Friday just after 9 a.m. that the bridge was stuck in the open position and that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers was working to fix it. Minutes later, it reopened.
They were also called out Thursday, for the same issue. The bridge got stuck in the open position during rush hour Thursday, just before 5:30 p.m. It reopened around 8:30 p.m.
