CONCORD, N.C. (WGHP) — The fans’ viewing experience all starts at the brand-new NASCAR Productions facility.

From archives to video editing to writing, the facility close to the NASCAR R&D Center is where the magic happens.

The hype videos you see on Twitter all come from a group at the facility. And at every corner, you can find a touch of the sport.

Every detail, even down to the break room, was created with the employees in mind.

The other benefit of the new building is the new technology, starting with collecting data. The data goes to the facility’s website and is handed off to broadcasters.

Broadcasters then use the data during the telecast.

Even the broadcast equipment room is the only one in the world of its kind, and every behind-the-scenes aspect is made to create quality on-air productions.

But the possibilities don’t end at television production. The facility’s potential extends to both online content and radio content as well.

There are three studios in the building. The digital set is used to create content for NASCAR.com and NASCAR’s social media pages.

A new building may not seem like a lot, but it’s reflective of the growth of NASCAR and what it means to the community as a whole.
