PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — No matter who you’re rooting for this Super Bowl, we are On Your Side to ensure you make it home safe after a night of festivities.

Residents ages 21+ who need a ride on Super Bowl night from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. can download the Lyft app, and enter a code in the payment tab to receive a $15 discount, that night, to any destination in Hampton Roads.

The promo code is provided by 757 Sober Ride, and is sponsored by Drive Safe Hampton Roads, or DSHR. The code is set to be posted at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 11. Limited quantities are available.

In an effort to reduce injuries and fatalities in Hampton Roads, DSHR promotes the 757 Sober Ride campaign for rides originating and/or for destinations in Hampton Roads.

“It is critical that anyone heading out to a bar or party to plan for a sober driver to see them home safely,” said Jonathan Turner, 757 Sober Ride Chairperson, in a release. “If you have a bowl party on your calendar, make smart choices and plan out how you’re going to get home safely once the celebration ends. Driving drunk is deadly, and no one should ever take that risk.”
