NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a man’s death after his body was found in Oastes Creek, in the 8500 block of Culfor Crescent in Norfolk.
The call came in around 12:30 p.m. Sunday.
Norfolk Fire-Rescue recovered the man’s body from the water and pronounced him dead at the scene. Police identified him Monday as 33-year-old Marcial-Castillo Macias.
No foul play is suspected, officials said, but the Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the official manner and cause of death.
