NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Norfolk police have arrested two people in connection to a Sunday morning shooting on Flanders Avenue.
On Sunday, Nov. 12 just after 4 a.m., officers were called to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for the report of a walk-in gunshot victim.
Upon arrival, they found a 19-year-old woman suffering from a non life-threatening graze wound.
Police say the shooting happened on the 3300 block of Flanders Avenue. An investigation resulted in the arrest of 19-year-old Deandre J. Lee of Norfolk and 21-year-old Jasmine Z. Johnson of Portsmouth.
Lee was charged with malicious wounding, shooting into an occupied vehicle, four counts of attempted malicious wounding, and four counts of use of firearm.
Johnson was charged with malicious wounding, four counts of attempted malicious wounding, and shooting into an occupied vehicle.
Both Lee and Johnson are currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond.
At this time, detectives have not released any additional details surrounding the circumstances of this incident.
