VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A man’s body was found on Wednesday, Oct. 4, in Lake Smith in Virginia Beach.
A person fishing at Lake Smith called 911 after seeing what they thought was a body in the water, Virginia Beach Police Department said.
Police responded to the 1300 block of Lake View Drive and made the recovery. They identified the man on Friday as William Henry Jenkins II. His cause of death is still pending toxicology results.
