VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – One person has been arrested and charged with unlawful shooting in an occupied dwelling in connection with a Saturday morning shooting that resulted in a death, Virginia Beach Police said.
Elizabeth Ashe, 24, of Virginia Beach was arrested and charged with unlawful shooting in an occupied dwelling, police said Monday.
Virginia Beach Emergency Communications and Citizen Services received a call regarding the shooting at 8:33 a.m. Saturday, in the 1000 block of Mineola Drive. Police patrol units responded and found the victim, Ashley McCoy, 26, of Virginia Beach, dead.
