HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A man has died following a shooting in Hampton Sunday afternoon.
According to police, officers were called to the 900 block of Aberdeen Road at 2:41 p.m. in reference to a missing man.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a man in his residence suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, later identified as 39-year-old Dwight McKinley, was pronounced dead on the scene.
No further information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
