UPDATE Nov. 1, 2019: Brian David Crockett pleaded guilty Oct. 29 to an amended charge of unlawful wounding.
He was sentenced to five years with two years and six months suspended, leaving him an active two-and-a-half-year sentence.
YORK County, Va. (WAVY) — Deputies have made an arrest in the Sunday morning stabbing that sent one man to the hospital.
Deputies say 45-year-old Brian David Crockett of Yorktown, was arrested and charged with stabbing with intent to maim or kill.
According to officials, the victim and suspect know each other.
Around 10:00 a.m., police responded to the area of 6305 US-17 in Yorktown and transported one man to the hospital.
