PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Old Dominion University alum Stephanie Roble ’11 is competing for the United States in sailing at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

It will be Roble’s second Olympics appearance. She is sailing with Maggie Shea in the games in the Skiff – 49erFX.

Roble and Shea have been on the professional trail as a team since the fall of 2016. They competed in the Tokyo Olympics.

According to US Sailing, Roble grew up in Wisconsin where she fell in love with sailing. At Old Dominion University, she was the team captain and received two All-American sailing honors.
