PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – According to downdetector.com, users of the Workday platform reported an outage Tuesday.

Some users said the site would not load at all for them. Others said they were receiving a page that states “an error occurred.”

By 6 p.m. Tuesday, the number of reports dropped significantly. A Workday spokesperson said “we let impacted customers know that service was restored by [5 p.m.]. We sincerely apologize for today’s interruption.”

WAVY-TV 10 uses Workday and employees were unable to access the platform despite several attempts. According to its website, Workday is used by businesses for finance, HR and IT solutions.

Around 4:30 p.m., some WAVY users were able to get the site to load, but others were still experiencing issues. This is one screenshot of an error message stating that the site was “taking longer than usual to load.”
